*ONE OF IFOOD ECONOMY SERVICES IS: ORGANIC REVOLUTION*

Organic Revolution is the component of ifood that guarantees a reliable supply of affordable and healthy food to the ifood community.

Organic Revolution will engage with farmers and participants in three different ways:

👉1: *Train farmers (or other interested participants) to adopt integrated farming in groups as Organic Revolution Outgrower Cooperatives.* Microfinance will be a part of the empowerment program as the need arises.

👉2: *Organise farmers into Organic Revolution Cooperatives* (where certain crops are grown in abundance) for easy aggregation/offtaking of their produce. We will also empower farmers with capacity building and microfinance to increase their productivity and capacity to farm sustainably all year round.

👉3: *Residual income from farm projects:* 10% – 50% of the monthly cashbacks will be reinvested on behalf of participants in cash crop & processing projects for a secondary source of a lifetime residual income in the form of annual dividends.

👉4: *Establish Organic Revolution Integrated Farm Estates in rural areas.* Participants will be organised into cooperatives structures, trained and sponsored to achieve the ifood objectives.

Cottage processing will be established to support the cooperative structures around and within the Estates to process quality produce for the ifood community and to also return the waste as organic inputs to the farms to lower costs of production.

The key control process employed for this strategy is ensuring that every Organic Revolution outgrower project is carried out within contiguous land areas and inputs are delivered to farmers under supervision at the time of application. In addition, harvest is done in cooperative fashion to avoid side-selling.

👉5. *The 3 By 10 Cash-back Structure* 

The Company allocates a significant portion of the margin on every produce transaction for Cashbacks. This portion is split in 14 places. 10 parts are distributed to the 10 uplines above the participant, one part as buyer’s rebate, one part as matching bonus to the referrer, one part to the Neighborhood Distribution Center operator and the last part to the Food Mart (Warehouse) in that local area.
